Accessibility
Last updated 1 November 2026.
We want every student to be able to use ACA Study Partner, whatever device or settings they use. This page says what's been tested, what hasn't, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
What we're aiming for
The target is WCAG 2.2 level AA, the usual standard for websites and apps. We're not claiming the app fully meets it. This is what's been checked so far.
What's been tested
- Automated checks (axe) on every tab and section of the app, the login screen, and these pages, in light and dark, at phone and laptop sizes. These run every time the app is changed.
- Keyboard use: moving round the app, opening and closing pop-ups with focus going back to where you were, flipping flashcards, and logging in, all without a mouse.
- Phone screens and tap targets: every tab and section is checked for anything running off a phone screen, and for buttons too small to tap.
What hasn't been tested
- The app hasn't had a full independent accessibility audit.
- Automated checks can't find everything, so there may be problems we haven't spotted.
Ask for an adjustment or report a barrier
If something's hard to use, or you need it to work differently, please tell us. Email [email protected] with what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We'll reply within 5 working days.
